IB Mthiebi participates in a study (Timss) organized by the International Association (IEA) which aims to investigate the achievements of 4th and 8th graders in maths and science.

Students from all over the world, their parents, teachers and the school principals take part in the study. The project involves integrated testing by combining different subjects and is conducted entirely electronically. Grade 4 and 8 students from the city of IB Mthiebi took part in the testing.

The project is designed to measure and develop students’ knowledge, critical thinking and learning skills.
