For the first time at School!
On the initiative of Kakha Shengelia, President of Caucasus University, the foundations of a new educational system were laid at AB MThiebi High School.
The training course “Entrepreneurship: Entrepreneurial Thinking and Skills”, organized by the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship of Caucasus University and IB Mthiebi was launched for tenth and eleventh grade students of the High School.
Promoting entrepreneurial thinking among students is a priority issue for IB Mthiebi.
The training course includes three days of intensive mentoring sessions and thematic workshops.
During the first meeting of the training course, Ana Dolidze, a representative of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and Saba Arudashvili, founder and CEO of Rollyks, the Center’s beneficiary startup, discussed topics such as:
- What is entrepreneurship and what is the role of an entrepreneur in business? What is a startup and who is a startup businessman?
- The role of innovation in entrepreneurship; How to start generating startup ideas?
During the meeting, as part of a practical workshop, students had the opportunity to better familiarize themselves with the process of generating and presenting a startup idea.
