Students of IB Mthiebi in Cern.

On the basis of cooperation with Georgian scientists of the European Organization for Nuclear Research and IB Mthiebi, a visit of schoolchildren to Geneva was planned and implemented.

• During the visit, the students of IB Mthiebi got acquainted with the main devices and working principles of scientific research experiments ATLAS and ALISE;

• They saw the exhibition of the first accelerator SC (Synchrociclotron) in CERN;

• inspected the work process of the DCVP-data center;

• They listened to the lectures of Georgian and foreign physicists working at CERN on the achievements of modern physics and its role in the development of modern society.

As part of the educational tour, the students visited the office of the United Nations Organization in Geneva.

A meeting was held with the head of the Environmental Protection Service, Mr. Zaal Lomtadze
